Thermometer and hygrometer always at hand! WS30BK has a built-in sensor to measure temperature and humidity inside the room where it is installed. The additional wireless sensor included in the set can perform measurements outdoors or in any selected location. Data regarding both temperature and humidity measurements are constantly updated and displayed on the LCD display built into the weather station*. Additionally, the device has a memory for measuring the lowest and highest values of both temperature and humidity, which reset automatically at the beginning of the next day. Temperature values can be displayed in either degrees Celsius or degrees Farenheit. Get to know the trends in your environment, including weather trends. In addition to reading temperature and humidity, trend indicators for these parameters are available. The arrows appearing on the screen indicate how the measured values have changed over the last hour. An up arrow means that a given parameter has increased its value, a down arrow indicates a decrease in the value of a given parameter, and a horizontal arrow means that a given value has not changed. You don't have to wait for the weather forecast, just take a look at our station! The display of the WS30BK weather station also provides a graphical weather forecast for the next 12-24 hours. Please note that this forecast is calculated based on temperature and humidity fluctuations and has limited accuracy, but it is a useful tool for estimating weather conditions for the next few hours in a specific location. Depending on the prevailing conditions, pictograms are available predicting sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy or snowy weather. The blood pressure is dropping, time for a cup of coffee! The WS30BK weather station has a built-in sensor for measuring absolute atmospheric pressure, and the reading data appears on the display. If you feel a sudden drop in energy or you are a meteorologist, just look at the display and if your blood pressure is low, it's a sign that you need to prepare a cup of coffee. Please note that this weather station reads absolute atmospheric pressure, which may differ from that reported in official weather forecasts. The reason for this difference is that the relative pressure given in official weather forecasts is reduced to sea level. The absolute pressure indicated in this model is the pressure measured at a given location at the appropriate height. Turn up the parameters! The WS30BK weather station has been carefully calibrated in our manufacturing facility, but if for any reason you wish to adjust the measurement values to your needs, you can manually calibrate the internal temperature, internal humidity and pressure values. The temperature calibration range is +/- 5 degrees, humidity +/- 10% and pressure +/- 9 hPa. When setting up the weather station, you can also manually adjust the appropriate weather forecast pictograms. What time is it, what day is it? There is also a clock on the LCD screen that can display the current time in both 12- and 24-hour formats. Thanks to this, the station also functions as a useful watch. Next to the clock, there is also a calendar that will inform you what day of the month it is and what day of the week it is. The names of the days of the week are available in seven languages (DE, EN, FR, IT, SP, DU and DA) and can be changed when setting the calendar. Hello! Incentive! The WS30BK weather station also has an alarm function, so if you need to get up earlier, simply set the time you want the alarm to go off and sleep soundly. The alarm will go off automatically, and if you want to sleep a little longer, turn on the snooze function and the alarm will go off again in 5 minutes. The alarm is triggered by a sound signal that lasts for 2 minutes, long enough to wake up even the heaviest sleepyhead. Additionally, you can set different wake-up times on weekdays and on weekends. The station supports up to three external sensors, so you can buy two additional optional Blaupunkt ACC20WS sensors for the sensor included in the set, set them on the appropriate channels (the sensors have 3 channels, switched manually), so that the signals do not interfere with each other and apply them wherever you just want. Thanks to the LCD displays built into the optional ACC20WS sensors, you can also check the temperature and humidity values wherever you place them. Power supply. You can connect the WS30BK weather station to the socket using the supplied 5V 1200mA power supply and the wireless outdoor sensor with two AA batteries, which are included in the set. In order for the station to remember the settings during a power outage, you need to buy a CR2032 coin battery, but it's cheap, so you don't have to worry! The station can operate without it, but after a power outage you will have to enter the appropriate settings again. Additionally, the LCD screen has an indicator of the battery level of the external sensor, so that you know when the batteries are low and can replace them in time. Oh how comfortable! This is how it works: you set the temperature range for the internal sensor in the range from 19°C to 23°C and if the air heats up above or cools down below this range, an audio signal will appear in the weather station and an appropriate icon will appear on the display.
